Projects
Below are a few of the projects that our church is constantly involved with. We also choose one specific project every month to focus our missions attention on. It will be highlighted below as well.
Walstone Shepherd’s Pantry
At Walstone, we continuously collect food to help provide for community members that may have fallen on hard times and need assistance. This is an ongoing missions project that we are always involved with.
Orphans of Kenya
The Orphans of Kenya Project, spearheaded by our former pastor, Wesley Wallis, and his family (pictured above), is a missions project that our church and its members support on a monthly basis. Pastor Wallis, his wife Cindy, his daughter Hannah, and his son Malachi, relocated to Kenya in 2018 to start a school and orphanage to support the children in the surrounding areas.
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
Each Easter season, we collect offerings for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering that goes to support North American Missions. Our goal this year is $500 and we are working very hard to reach it!
